ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments The Associate membership is for any individual who exhibits an interest in preventing gang activity, whose talents and interests can be of benefit to the NYGIA. Associate Members are voting members and are required to adhere to the regulations of Regular Members as set forth in the by-laws, from the following categories:

- NYPD: School Safety Division
- School Superintendents
- Principals/Deans
- School Security Personnel
- Teachers
- Counselors
- Social Workers
- Psychologists
- Victim Advocates
- Any other person deemed appropriate for membership by the NYGIA Board of Directors

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments The Regular membership shall be any full-time employee or retired employee (who was an active member at the time of retirement) from the following categories:

- Law Enforcement Officers
- Probation/Parole
- Corrections Officers
- Juvenile Justice Professionals (Detention,Residential)
- Prosecuting Attorneys
- Judges/Judicial Assistants
- Criminal Analysts/Evidence Technicians for a Law Enforcement Agency
- School Resource Officers
- Any other person deemed appropriate for membership by the NYGIA Board of Directors
