Registration Fee: $150.00 (submitted by June 1, 2008). AFTER this date, the Late Registration/Walk-in Fee is $175.00.

HOTEL ROOM RATE:
· Rate: $87.00– single occupancy/double occupancy, plus applicable taxes.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS METHOD:
· Attendees need to make their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly 585-546-3450 or the Reservations Department at 1866 826 2831. Guests should identify themselves with New York Gang Investigators Association group.
· All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or first night's deposit in order to be confirmed.
· Individual reservations may be cancelled without penalty outside of 24 hours prior to arrival. If cancelled within 24 hours of arrival, the Hotel will charge you for the first night's room and tax.
· A limited number of rooms are available; please make your reservation early so you are eligible for the discounted rate, cut-off date is June 21, 2008. After that, rooms will no longer be available at the special rate.
The New York Gang Investigators Association is pleased to announce its 2008 Second Annual New York State Gang Training Conference. This training conference will provide the most current and reliable street gang information available to our membership. The NYGIA has gathered an array of speakers from throughout the United States that will focus on the recognition and identification of Latino Gangs, Prison Gangs, Gangs in Schools, and Gangs in the Media. We also have special guest speakers that will focus on Intervention and Prevention strategies for at-risk youth. *July 18 – NYGIA Basic Gang Specialist Certification Course.
